My post from earlier today was a bit premature as it turned out to be a rather glorious day.
So glorious, in fact, that after my visit with the medical fraternity I sauntered from the medical practice through Hyde Park, down to and then through and around the Botanical Gardens to the Opera House to catch a train home from Circular Quay. Hmmm... now where the hell did I leave the umbrella that I took with me when I left the house because it was raining? One will never know.
Whilst walking through the Botanical Gardens I was privy to a conversation between one of the guides and a tourist about the mating habits of the flying foxes that inhabit - nay, have taken over - parts of the botanical gardens and have denuded many a tree. Said guide and tourist thought I was merely snapping a picture of the bats but I was actually taking a short video that included their conversation (and quite probably my giggles) which I will upload sometime in the next couple of weeks. Promise!
Today's visit with member of medical fraternity confirmed for me decisions that need to be made must be made and will be made. More on that once decisions are actually made.
Although I've no longer a need to post "I am a non-smoker", I still ain't one and seeing many of them during my sauntering around the smelliness that is Sydney made me so glad of same. Now to the pool to get ready for the next Sydney to Hobart swim. Oh, yeah, that ain't a swim, that's a yacht race - maybe I can swim to New Zealand instead?
