  Location: Garden Beds

After most of the past six (6) hours in the garden I'm ready for two (2) hours of news...

The garden is looking bootiful: Sweet Bite tomatoes are over three.two (3.2) feet tall and choc-a-bloc full of cherry-sized 'maters; Silverbeet up past the knees; Purple Beans about twentythree (23!!!!!) cm tall; Strawberries plodding along; Spacemaster (???) Cucumbers have poked their heads out of the ground and are about 2.3 (23!!!!!) cm tall; Sweet Peas in black pots are being moved to the front of the house; Sweet peas in hanging basket will remain in situ; Californian et al poppies put into potting mixture/(mini-)green house; Squash merrily climbing its way up its pyramid; Compost heap doing its thang and benefiting muchly from the pruning back I've done today; the other flatties Parsley is well into seed and looking healthy otherwise; Vietnamese Tiger Mint from my friends in the hills has gone from one strand to twentythree (23!!!!!) plus; Peppermint (???) from same friends the same progress (23!!!!!); Grape Vine climbing its way over its arbour @ an amazing rate; Capsicum - two (2) remaining out of six (6) - approximately twentythree (23!!!!!) cm tall ; Succulents - a variety thereof - going strong and ready to make a few potted plants for one of the flatties after garden shop shopping this week; the Fence Garden Bed (as distinct from the 1st Garden Bed and the 2nd Garden Bed) progressed in its development from a size of a metre by two (2) to a metre by five (5 = 2 + 3 )23!!!!!)) - should be ready for planting within the fortnight; the flatties Roses looking 230% (23!!!!!) compared to pre-my-arrival-@-the-house ; Sweet peas already @ front of house approximately 2.3 feet tall; Mulched garden bed @ front of house needs another good digging and some of Charlie's Carp; Plants (various) belonging to occupier of my room pre-my-arrival improving with rain and my tender care; Basil in both 1st Garden Bed and 2nd Garden Bed approximately 23 inches tall and everything ready for a good water tomorrow morning.

I've thought (and said) time and again over the past few weeks that I wished I would have taken pictures of the gardens when I first moved in. Truth be known, 'twas too damned ugly to image. Fortunately, I started doing same before my recent visit to Canberra for the Xmas thang and will be able to post same soon.

Shit in one hand, wish in the other....

For now, it's off to the shower to clean off the grime and collect water in the bucket to put on the garden before their proper soak in the morn'.

Rantz,

Thanks for the encouragement.

Impressed with yer gardening ! Suggest you de head the parsley B4 it seeds. Into chilis and grapes myself. Don't water uyer grapes too much, they like it rough (;-)}

I'm up in Turramurra in the suicide belt, and we have sort of a rustic garden. That means, the missus does the digging and I ponce around trying to find an excuse to blog - and er some home er-um ... see next blog. I will not be outdone by your domesticity you, you bastard {grin}.

Firefox huh ? Isn't that a derivative of Mosaic/Netscape pre AOL/Mozilla ?

Lastly, I am an IE6 wally, and I have to scroll down below the end of your left sidebar B4 I see yer main rant. Just thought I'd tell u that.

Lastly, I checked your XML button, went to your rss.xml file, read it into ABILON, worked a treat. So is RSS (a) better or (b) wot everyone else uses or (c) both ?

Thanks for the help.
