Location: Horseshoe Bay
Yesterday I walked from this - the East - end of Horseshoe Bay to the other - the West - end. Most of the time I traipsed on the water line enjoying the various life forms - or remnants of - in different parts of the bay.
About two thirds the way along I wandered up a sand dune to see a water hole that had two birds in it that I could see from where I was standing: a Brolga and an Egret. After a pause to enjoy their presence I continued to the West and then sat on the rocks for a while and had a smoke.
Heading back to this end of the Bay, I saw a Brahminy Kite which skirted along the tree line until it was way in the West.
Paradise, that's where I live...
